The Kid Who Played the Palace is at once an entirely original work and a traditional book musical structured very much in the style of such standards as Gypsy, Fiddler on the Roof,and My Fair Lady.

The book, music, and lyrics are by Peter Sklar, (PRODUCER), who is also producing the show. The director is William Martin, (DIRECTOR), whose last Broadway venture, The Lieutenant, was nominated for five Tony Awards.

Ranging in style from musical comedy to psychological drama, The Kid Who Played the Palace features a reality-based plot, (STORY), and an original musical score, (MUSIC).

The show takes us into the world of several precocious child actors, and allows us to witness the eleventh-hour redemption of a troubled but fascinating individual who works with them.
